Cybersecurity Specialist
John Bull Ltd is looking for Cyber Security Specialist to join our team in Nassau, The Bahamas.

POSITION SUMMARY: We are looking for a Cyber Security Specialist to join our team to work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure that cyber security projects meet objectives across our organization. The incumbent will be responsible for various tasks, including process re-engineering and documentation of activities related to this area.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Include the following, but not limited to:
- Determine security violations and inefficiencies by conducting periodic audits
- Monitor our network and infrastructure system security frameworks
- Develop, Implement and maintain security controls
- Identify and solve potential and actual security problems
- Assess the current situation, evaluating trends and anticipating security requirements
- Conduct cyber security trainings for technical and non-technical staff
- Facilitates Incident response initiatives
- Keep users informed by preparing performance reports; communicating system status
- Maintain quality service by following organization standards
- Maintain technical knowledge by attending educational workshop
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
- Participate in change management process.
- Test and identify information systems vulnerabilities.
- Help develop training material and operations guides
- Perform daily administrative tasks associated with main duties and responsibilities.
- Provide IT support on some Saturdays, and evenings
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Degree or IT Certification (CISSP, CEH and/or similar certification), along with proven experience directly related to the main duties and responsibilities specified.
- Hands-on experience analyzing high volumes of logs, network data and other attack artifacts
- Familiarity with Cyber Security Frameworks
- Experience with vulnerability scanning solutions
- Proficiency with antivirus and security software
