John Bull Ltd is looking for a Boutique Assistant to join our Cartier Boutique at Bahamar. As an Ambassador of the Maison, he/she is responsible for the welcoming of clients, manages waiting time and ensures that they are being taken care of in the most efficient manner. He/she also assists the Sales Professionals during a sale and participates in daily boutique operations.


The ideal candidate is customer focused, welcoming, and passionate about contributing to top-line sales growth. 

Responsibilities:

  • Sales Assistance:
    • Brings and returns inventory pieces for the Sales Professional
    • Assists discreetly with various tasks during the sale
    • Coordinates between Sales Professional and Stock Executive / Cashier, etc.
    • Gift Wrapping and management of packaging area
    • Orders taxis
    • Accompanies the clients to the door on departure
    • Assists with Care Service duties (bringing pieces, etc) without handling payments
  • Daily Boutique Operations:
    • Respects all group, Maison and boutique policies, procedures and guidelines
    • Participates with inventories
    • Participates with price labelling
    • Participates with the set up and breakdown at opening and closing of the boutique
    • Participates with the implementation of Visual Merchandising guidelines
    • Orders boutique facilities (bags, drinks, edition material, office facilities, etc
  • Boutique Environment:
    • Ensures the overall boutique environment is impeccable
    • Is responsible for the music and the olfactory atmosphere of the boutique
    • Ensures the windows and counters are in a perfect condition
  • Client Welcoming & Waiting Time Management:
    • Ensure an exceptional client experience at the entrance of the boutique
    • Seats clients when possible and offers drinks, reading, etc
    • Informs clients about the approximate waiting time or, when applicable, manages the waiting time using the available tool/application
  • Operational Responsibilities:

    • Inventory Control – Assist in executing proper movement of product in/out of boutique including but not limited to shipments, transfers and consignments, i.e. tagging, Quality Control, organization, protection, placement in Boutique Inventory Tool, movement to proper fixtures throughout boutique, cycle counts, daily counts, audits and reconciliation/problem solving.

    • Reporting – Assist with any reporting needs (Booster, Microsoft Excel)

    • Assist with special projects as needed.

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years experience selling a luxury product or service
  • High School diploma or Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • Excellent ability to manage and build relationships
  • Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed acquisition goals
  • Advanced skills in communicating, selling and negotiating
  • Unrelenting drive to understand and meet prospective customer needs
  • Familiarity with Point of Sale systems
