JOB TITLE: Foreign Accounts Payable Clerk

DIRECT REPORT: Financial Controller

POSITION SUMMARY: Collects deposits and balances accounts of assigned stores.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Include the following, but not limited to:
 

Accounts Payable & Reconciliation

  • Review, verify, and process foreign vendor invoices in accordance with company policies and procedures
  • Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner
  • Maintain accurate records of amounts owed to international suppliers
  • Monitor aging reports and ensure timely payment of foreign obligations
  • Preparing & confirming documents for Richemont consignment in counterpoint
  • Local payables-DHL, QUANTUM, J.S Johnson, GWS

Wire Transfers & Payments

  • Assist in setting up and processing international wire transfers
  • Verify banking details and ensure compliance with internal controls and payment protocols
  • Coordinate with internal departments and financial institutions to ensure accurate and timely payments
  • Maintain documentation related to foreign transactions and payment approvals

Recordkeeping & Filing

  • Organize and maintain physical and electronic filing systems for accounts payable records
  • Ensure all invoices, payment confirmations, and supporting documents are filed accurately and securely
  • Support audits by retrieving and preparing financial documentation as needed
  • Logging Records for Insurance
  • Posting RTV
  • Scanning required documents

General Support

  • Communicate with vendors regarding payment status and discrepancies
  • Collaborate with accounting and finance teams to improve processes
  • Perform additional administrative duties as assigned


KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
  • 1–3 years of accounts payable or accounting experience, preferably with international transactions preferred
  • Basic knowledge of foreign currency transactions and wire transfers
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to handle confidential financial information with integrity
