JOB DESCRIPTION
JOB TITLE: Project Coordinator
DIRECT REPORT: Project Manager
POSITION SUMMARY: Assists with overseeing projects from conception to completion and ensuring timelines are kept. Handles administrative tasks for the project manager and team members to keep the project running smoothly. This may include ordering equipment and supplies, managing deadlines and workflow, and scheduling meetings and appointments.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Include the following, but not limited to.
- To assist Project Manager in overseeing construction projects from conception to completion.
- Coordinate various projects simultaneously both on site and in the office.
- Coordinate credentials, access and presence of personnel at sites as needed at times dictated by operation hours and company policies.
- Help develop schedules, timelines, scopes and budgets as well as project status reports when needed.
- Assist in the project procurement process.
- Administration and sometimes production of project documentation such as drawings, submittals, RFI’s and assist with review of the same for quantitative and qualitative impact as well as value engineering exercises.
- Coordinate task assignment as directed with other company departments to ensure seamless performance along with contractors and consultants.
- Help coordination of meetings and generate minutes or records of same.
- Take part in reception of shipments when and where needed and cross checking of inventory as soon as received.
- Performs any other reasonable duties as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Full command of the English Language.
- Experience in construction project coordination and drafting administration.
- Great organizational and time-management skills
- Problem solving abilities including short, mid and long term solutions.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings.
- Lateral thinking
- Strong attention to detail
- Computer literate; proficiency in Microsoft Office Programs, CAD. Others are welcome.
