JOB TITLE: Delivery Driver

DIRECT REPORT: Messenger Supervisor/Receiving Manager/Other

POSITION SUMMARY: Delivers and renders service on behalf of and for the John Bull Group of Companies.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Include the following, but not limited to:

• Transports stock/merchandise to assigned locations.
• Writes customer orders and instructions.
• Collects funds from the customers, makes change, and records transactions on customer receipt.
• Records sales or deliveries information on daily or delivery record.
• Sources and solicits new business.
• Prepares order forms and sales contracts.
• Resolves service complaints.
• Places stock on shelves or racks.
• Sets up merchandise and sales promotion displays and issues sales promotion materials to customers.
• Collects or picks up empty containers or rejected/unsold merchandise.
• Issues or obtains customer signature on receipt for pickup or delivery.
• Cleans and maintains company vehicles.
• Performs routine maintenance on company truck.
• Adheres to the John Bull Corporate Values.

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

* Excellent communications skills.

* In good health/physical condition.

* Good driver with valid driver’s license.
